As tension rises ahead of the next-year’s general elections,
the head of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William
Kumuyi, insisted that claims about the possible break-up of Nigeria
were “mere speculations”.
Pastor Kumuyi, who spoke Tuesday, November 25, in Ilorin, Kwara
State, also urged Nigerians to carefully examine the manifesto of those
running for offices.
The clergyman noted that people were pursuing common objectives and thus should put hands together to elect worthy people.
“For instance, we all want an economically stable Nigeria, we all
want security so let everyone become conscious of that and let all of
us know that the task of doing it is not for just a few people. We
should look at the manifesto of politicians and pick the ones that will
deliver.”
