On Friday (September 26), the “No Air” singer finally addressed her split with fiancé Jason DeRulo, tweeting: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
Reports of the breakup first surfaced on September 25, but honestly, I think most of us were still a little too shell-shocked by the news of Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose’s divorce to fully process this new information. The “Wiggle” singer later confirmed the rumors, telling Minneapolis’ KDWB: “It’s not a bad situation.”
It’s great that Jordin is able to stay so strong and positive right now. Somebody’s got to, and it sure isn’t gonna be me — at least not this week. Related: EVERYONE STOP BREAKING UP.
