We Didn’t Reject ACF’s Recommendations On Boko Haram – Northern Govs

The chairman Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF) and Niger State Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu has said that the northern governors never rejected the recommendations of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) on how to end Boko Haram insurgency.
While describing the recent claim by the ACF as unfortunate, the chairman of the forum, Governor Aliy, in a statement by his chief press secretary Israel Ebije, insisted that northern governors made wide consultations.
He said the governors made consultations based on various experiences and views as regards to the flash points, all aimed at charting a security roadmap for the region on how to end the insurgency.
According to him “We consulted with socio-political groups towards ending Boko Haram insurgency and other security malaise in the North.”
