But sadly, news of your breakup leaked on Sept. 25, and then Jason publicly confirmed that your relationship was over when he told Minneapolis radio station KDWB that “everything is cool, man. It’s not a bad situation, it’s not one of those kinds of things.”
Well, it may not have been a bad situation for him, because a source previously revealed  that it was Jason who initiated the split! And from our point of view, it was for reasons that must have been pretty disappointing to you, Jordin.
Jason, our source says, was concerned that his own recent huge success created tension in your romance, because in his mind his career was now at a much higher level than yours!

“Jason keeps making hit song after hit song. He keeps making money hand over fist and that was a big strain on the relationship between the two and the main reason he didn’t marry her and the reason they broke up. If he married her and they fell out of love, he would take a huge financial hit,” the source revealed
Whew! I can only imagine how heartrending that must be, especially after three years of togetherness. Being in love means that you are there to celebrate your lover’s successes, but are also there to support your partner when they are still striving to fulfill their dreams.

Jason, on the other hand, was an up-and-coming singer, just launching his career. However, just as his career started to take off, he suffered a terrible accident.
He broke one of his vertebrae while he was doing acrobatics rehearsing for his Future History tour. Jason fell on his neck, and the accident was almost fatal. In fact, his injury was called a “hangman’s break,” because it’s the same bone that is broken when someone is hanged, he has explained. Most people die from this injury.
Well, Jordin, you devoted yourself to Jason during his long recovery. Jason even acknowledged how you stayed by his side.
“Jordin was very instrumental in my recovery,” he told E!. “It takes a very special person to drop everything they’ve got going on in their life, especially someone of her caliber, to come and aid me. That was really special.”

Jordin, you’re just 24. There’s a big life for you ahead without Jason. There are lots of other men out there who would die to date you and somewhere is the real true love of your life, who will stand by you, no matter what.
