So Sad: Listen To What Jordana Brewster Said About Paul Walker’s Death

It’s been almost one year since Paul Walker was tragically killed in a car crash, and his fellow co-stars are still feeling the pain. Jordana Brewster, who portrayed his love interest in the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise, is speaking out about how she still misses his presence on set.

Jordana Brewster, 34, is opening up on just how difficult it is to continue to work on the Fast & Furious franchise without Paul Walker there. The actor died in a car crash at just 40 years old in California last November. He sadly left behind his teen daughter, Meadow Walker.

The Furious 7 actress reprises her role as Mia in the latest Fast film. Since the very first installment of the hugely successful franchise, Jordana and Paul played opposite each other as love interests. As such, they developed a very strong bond over the years.
“It’s the most difficult, intense thing I’ve ever been through,” Jordana told Cosmopolitan in a recent interview. We can’t imagine how tough it was to continue to go on set without seeing Paul. So sad.
“Just yesterday, I had a moment where I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m never going to feel the way I felt when I hugged him.’ We shared so many years of friendship, and he embraced life so much,” Jordana went on to say. “The thing about Paul is he said hello to everybody. He didn’t see people as different.”
The latest film in the Fast franchise is set to open in theaters on April 3, 2015 and the cast couldn’t have done it without Paul’s presence.
Jordana told E! News this last film with Paul in it is “bittersweet.”
“I think the beautiful thing is that they get to see Paul again, and in a way celebrate him,” she revealed. “I’ve heard he’s really, really good in it, so I look forward to seeing him, too. Obviously it will be bittersweet, but I think it’s a way for fans to revisit him.”
Sadly, Paul died just weeks before shooting on the seventh film wrapped, which left producers in a difficult position. His brother, Cody Walker, was able to take on the remaining scenes for Paul’s character, Brian O’Conner.
Paul’s final film will be a great way for his family, friends and fans to remember him.
