Bill Cosby: Actress Barbara Bowman Alleges He Drugged & Raped Her

In an explosive new interview, she recounts how she allegedly became the comedian’s sex slave.Survivor: Barbara Bowman thought Bill Cosby was a god, and the opportunity to have him mentor her a dream come true. Little did she know that he was the devil in disguise

Bill Cosby, 77, has been accused of sexual assault many times in the past, but Barbara Bowman, a 46-year-old actress who was allegedly taken under the comedian’s wings when she was 17 years old, goes into shocking detail in a new interview, describing how one of TV’s favorite dads allegedly turned her into his sex slave.

“I was drugged and raped by that man,” Barbara told Daily Mail. “He is a monster. He came at me like a monster. My hope is that others who have experienced sexual abuse will not be intimidated into silence by the famous, rich and powerful. If I can help one victim, then I’ve done my job.Barbara also claims that Bill allegedly manipulated her into believing he was a father figure and took advantage of her youth and vulnerability.
Twenty-five years after alleged incidents of drugging, sexual assault, and rape at the hands of Bill, Barbara said: “I’ve been silent too long. It’s time to raise a fuss. I’m a real person that this happened to. And it’s taken decades to get over what he did to me.”
“I’m finally revealing all of my full story in hopes that others will learn to read the tell-tale signs of abuse and not wait as long as I did. No one believed me for years. They said Bill would never do that. That it was preposterous. But I’m putting my name out there and standing behind these words, just like Burress. No more code of silence,” she added.
Barbara is referring to comedian Hannibal Buress‘ recent claim that Bill is a “rapist.”

Hannibal Buress: ‘Bill Cosby Is A Rapist,’ Says Comedian During Stand-Up

During a show in Philadelphia on Oct. 16, Hannibal called Bill a rapist during his stand-up routine.
Hannibal explained how he’s confused by the concept of Bill being a role model, when he’s been accused of sexual assault many times over the last several years.
“I thank Hannibal Burress for speaking out over and over again, despite the threats from the Industry that it could ruin his career. He is standing up for me and the other women who are too afraid to speak out. And the timing couldn’t be better. It sickens me to think he’ll be on TV again, playing a father, no less,” Barbara also said.
According to various reports, Bill may return to NBC, playing a father on a new sitcom, as early as next summer — similar to his role as Dr. Cliff Huxtable on The Bill Cosby Show in the 1980s.
